They go beyond the childbirth preparation classes and focus on preparing mothers and fathers for the many life changes accompanying the birth of a first child or their subsequent lifetime of parenting. Becoming Parents Program provides first time parents with specific knowledge and skills for taking care of their couple relationship, taking care of themselves, and dealing with the many ways becoming parents impacts their lives.
